It’ll include 3 AR cards, a complete walkthrough of each chapter, info on multiplayer, Treasure Hunt details, and also details on weapon fusion (I’m guess it’ll have a fusion guide of some sort; how to get certain weapons etc.) It will be available at Bestbuy and Gamestop (and digitally from Prima Games)

Plan on collecting all the Kid Icarus: Uprising AR cards that Nintendo makes available? Good luck on that mission, my friend. Nintendo is going to make it quite tough to get all the cards. Here’s the details on distribution methods…or lack thereof.
- cards will be available at events
- cards will also be available at tournaments
- some cards will come backed in magazines (like Game Informer)
- no plans to sell the cards at retail right now
- AR cards unlock idols and hearts
- cards also show character or item info
- scan cards to add the data to your game’s ‘vault’
- first round of cards called Series 1
- serial numbers indicate that there may be upwards of 329 cards
- cards cover every character, weapon, item, and ability
- starter sets at GDC were random packs of 10
- AR coding allows for up to 14,348,907 different cardsvia Gonintendo
Looks like collecting these is gonna be even harder than I first thought ;o; Looks like I’m probably gonna end up printing scans off mostly if this holds true OTL Damnit Nintendo I can practically say with 100% certainty that Canada’s gonna get left out of all these tournaments and events as usual and even if they do hold them it’ll probably end up at huge cities like Toronto and Vancouver and missing all the other cities :/ Why would you not want to sell at retail?!
That said who else wants to send photos/scans of the cards we get from the preorder to each other? If someone’s willing to send good scans of theirs I’ll scan mine too.
I’ll try to scan every card I get, it will be handy if we help each other in my Opinion.

This video is available for viewing on the eShop in 3D! C: Oh gosh the dialogue/commentary in this one is just absolutely insane XD Especially the very last part of the video owo; you’ll understand what I mean when you watch it! lol and Magnus sounds even more like a jerk than before >3>;
New weapons spotted though nothing much more than a glimpse of what they look like as well as lots of new enemies too. Also something known as a “Chairbot” (think mecha like sort of thing). Guess this is another one of the vehicles like the Exo Tank? o: There was also right after that these strange gold circles; no clue what they’re for hopefully we’ll find out later. Umm not sure if I heard the name right but there’s now also a Tempura Wizard O__O” Looks like eggplants aren’t the only food we’re gonna get turned into… These guys seem more dangerous too, Palutena said something about one bite from that thing after you get turned into tempura shrimp and you’ll be finished.
BTW Sakurai you are awesome for keeping the “I’m Finished” and gameover music from the original ;u; I was hoping they’d keep that haha even if I’ve heard that more often than I’d like XD
Looks like all the bosses from the original game are making comebacks as well. Twinbellows and Hewdraw have already been seen but this is the first time seeing Pandora.

Gallery has been updated, commercials and the long 4 min trailer (English version posted earlier) have all been added.
Also I believe the dates for the first of the animated shorts has been revealed. (not sure if this applies to other parts of the world)
Production I.G.’s animations will be in 3 parts. Part 1 will be on Nintendo Video from March 8-15th, Part 2 will be from March 10-22nd, Part 3 will be from March 13-22nd.

There still isn’t a date for when these will be available to watch on Nintendo Video but I would assume it to be before launch or shortly after.
ONM reviews Kid Icarus: Uprising
Official Nintendo Magazine has reviewed Kid Icarus: Uprising and given it a score of 91%. I dunno bout you but that sounds like a pretty good score to me~ cx
Here’s some snippets from the review:
